1771 Received March 16th 1771 of & by the payment of Geo Simpson Curate of Finsthwaite for Flags & Laying the same in Finsthwaite Chapel the Sum of eighteen Pounds & eighteen Shillings in full for the same Flags & Labour , & I promise to lay a new Sole at the entrance of the Porch of the said Chapel if that new lay'd require amendment in the Space of seven years from the Date hereoft as Witness my Hand Robt Webster Witness James Croasdell
